A World with Octobers

This evening as darkness fell, my neighbourhood was alive with the sound of children’s laughter. Pumpkins were carved and candles were lit as an invitation. The cool air and occasional gusts of wind added a magical quality to the night. Trick or treat! What fun!

Ahhh….autumn. This quote captures my sentiment about this time of year so beautifully.

“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers”
L. M. Montgomery from Anne of Green Gables

Here’s why!

When you’re feeling grateful or you want to conjure up the feeling, try this simple ritual. Collect some leaves or flowers. Place them in a circle on a plate. Then, light a candle in the middle and offer some words of gratitude.

Create the life you desire one small ritual at a time.

Share your plate of thanks or your favourite images of October on my facebook page!
